UPDATE: SINCE A LOAD OF PEOPLE HAVE BEEN REUPLOADING THIS TO OTHER SITES GUESS WHAT'S NOW ON IT??? DAMN NOTE. I WILL NOT TOLERATE ART THEFT. NOT ON WATTPAD, NOT ON A GOOGLE+ COMMUNITY, NOTHING. Dark Elsa. Well don't I have a lot to say about this... I really love the original concept of the Snow Queen and honestly I feel like nothing gives it justice. The story with Tom and the mirror shard didn't feature in Frozen at all and I personally love that to no end, so that's kind of disappointing. But the main 'let down' for me was Elsa. I saw loads of gifs of her on tumblr before watching the film and I imagined her to be sweet, honest and yeah anxious but not to the degree she was. When she started talking and Idna's voice came out... yeah it doesn't match the character at all. I feel like they just picked her because she's done the west end - not because she was right for the person of Elsa.
So in my own version, Elsa would be darker in deep blues and purples; she'd be more foceful and have more 'evil' traits so she's not always scared of everything; and to match this new personality she'd be voiced by Emma Thompson. (Her talking: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jpiq1R…)
I know, the whole point of Elsa is she's depressed, he has anxiety and she feel isolated but personally I think Frozen was missing a villain. Hans? He wasn't a villain until the very end. So... who was the villain for the rest of it? There was never a clear task in the film so for me the story was too flimsy.
Anyway, enough of my personal opinion. What about yours? Agree or not, discuss in the comments. But bear in mind I appreciate faves a lot more than comments. Tah for reading
